Life at DAUST
DAUST offers a powerfully positive environment with our office of student affairs dedicated to enhance students' academic success through its programs and services. All incoming freshmen are required to live on campus in our beautiful furnished dorms. DAUST students are encouraged to be actively involved in one or more of the student organizations on campus.

Living on Campus
DAUST campus is located in Somone, Thies. The campus houses DAUST administrative units, student residential hall, classes, and research labs. Somone is a beautiful coastal area known for its natural beauty, bird reserves, and best stretch of beach anywhere in Senegal. The city of Somone is friendly and fun; it has some of the most beautiful resorts in the country. DAUST campus is less than 100 ft from the beach and close to the famous Royal Decameron Baobab Hotel.

DAUST Office of Student Affairs provides a broad range of services and support that enable students to realize their fullest academic, social and personal potential, and for integrating student life experiences with DAUST’s educational mission.
Health, Wellness, and Safety.
Your health, safety and well-being is one of our top priorities at DAUST. The University has partnered with a Health Center located in Somone and is committed to supporting the health and emotional well-being of DAUST students. We have also partnered with local clinics and on-call doctors. DAUST Campuses are 24h/7d under security surveillance.
Housing & Dining
The overwhelming majority of Daustians reside in our amazing campus residential housing units. Girls and Boys residential housings are separated . Our dining hall provides nutritious and delicious meals for all our Daustians with a mixture of local and international dishes.
Career Services
At DAUST, we prepare you for the real world, in the real world. Our career services support DAUST students as well as alumni in career development and job search success for on-campus, interships, and full-time jobs. We do this through partnering with local and international companies and employers, organizing career fairs, and career development workshops.
